Meet The Team
Michael Hochman, MD, MPH
Dr. Hochman is a Board-Certified Internist who graduated from Harvard Medical School in 2006 and completed his Internal Medicine training at the Cambridge Health Alliance. Between 2021-2024, Dr. Hochman served as the Founding CEO of Healthcare in Action, now the largest homeless healthcare group on the West Coast. In 2024, he founded Starfield Primary Care, a clinician-owned and operated medical group that partners with community health systems to deliver mobile medical care to homeless and housing insecure patient populations. Dr. Hochman is the editor of the 50 Studies Every Doctor Should Know book series, published by Oxford University Press, and has authored more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. He lives in Studio City, California, with his wife and three children, and is an avid Boston sports fan (don’t hold that against him, he comes to it honestly from growing up in Massachusetts).
